New California Terminal to Increase Loading Efficiencies and Facilitate Company Growth
October 5, 2011—CSA Transportation has broken ground on a new high-capacity cross-dock facility in Los Angeles, CA. This 45,000-square-foot distribution center will increase loading efficiencies and ensure the smooth handling of the growing volume of freight transported by the Canada/USA trucking company. Located on 4.5 acres, this facility will be equipped with 30 truck-level loading doors, tripling CSA LA’s capacity to serve its clients needs well into the future.
“Our network has grown to offer daily departures between 10 distinct regions and this new hub in Los Angeles will better handle the demands of our clients. This high-capacity facility will maintain CSA’s leadership for freight shipments between Southern California, Canada and the rest of the United States.” said President and CEO Herman Fallick.
The new trucking facility will be fully operational summer 2012.
