CSA charges a nominal fee to administer the electronic submission of customs documentation through each government's respective online customs portals (ACI for northbound shipments ; ACE for southbound).

Additional Pickup/Delivery/Reroute:

Like many trucking companies, our goal is to keep your supply chain moving and your customers happy and in many cases this may require a last minute change to your truck transportation order. At CSA, we've build a service around flexibility and personalized service; just let us know of any changes as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request!

Request For After Hours Pickups & Deliveries:

As much as you plan ahead some business pickups or deliveries need to happen after hours. When they do, our drivers work over-time, as do CSA warehouse and support staff. For your after hour service needs, the listed fee will be added to your invoice. After hour service schedule: Weekdays between 7PM and 6AM and weekends & holidays.

Appointments/Notify:

CSA's standard window for delivery and pickup appointments is 4 hours. This allows for the planning department to create the most efficient route to your location while taking other deliveries/pickups, traffic, mileage, and weather conditions into consideration. If you require pre-arrangements of specific pick up or delivery times, a $20.00 administration fee for each appointment or notification is required.

Attempted Pickups & Deliveries - Line Haul Unit:

For whatever reason you may need to make a change or cancel an order at the last minute. When you use CSA as your transportation specialist, flexibility is built into your order. As always please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or refuse pickup or delivery. If our truck is already on route, a small fee will be added to your bill to compensate for driver time, fuel, and planning/route changes.

CFIA - Canada Food Inspection Agency Inspections:

The CFIA (http://www.inspection.gc.ca) develops and delivers programs and services designed to protect Canadians against regulated diseases and deliberate threats to the resource base. Items requiring inspection include food, animals, and plant life. CSA can not plan for these inspections and while they may not apply to every shipment, when they do, both the truck and the driver are held up at the border until completion and the listed fee will be added to your order.

Curbside Pickup & Delivery:

You may have a business where curbside access is your only option for pick up and delivery. For a small fee our drivers will handle your freight to or from the truck to the curb. As CSA is primarily a freight carrier, inside or residential pickup or delivery is not available.
