Duties

The Account Manager is a leadership position that has responsibility for the success and profitability of multiple accounts. This position will liaise and coordinate with internal departments to fulfill clients' needs, maintain customer relationships and attend to specific customer problems by balancing the customers’ needs with our company’s profitability. The successful incumbent will maintain mutually profitable relationships between CSA & customers as well as develop new business through cold calling and follow up.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven track record in a sales capacity
  • Proven ability within logistics, operations, customer service, and project management
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a highly competitive environment
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, service and result oriented
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience strongly preferred
  • Effective leadership, team building and oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with centralized and decentralized teammates
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective customer and teammate relationships
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and defuse possibly volatile situations
  • Implementation and advanced problem solving skills
  • Internet and email communication skills
  • Gold Mine CRM Sales software knowledge

Education/Experience

2+ years in sales and/or operations experience in the logistics field necessary

High School Diploma required

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Commerce an asset
